If your electric service was disconnected because of a missed payment, you will need to make a payment for the entire balance due and pay the reconnection fee to automatically generate a request order to restore power. Follow the steps below to get started.
- Make your missed payment by selecting any of our convenient payments options Stake app Android|welcome_of. If you’d like to handle your payment now, you can pay online. You will need to have an online account or know your Alabama Power account number.
NOTE: It is recommended to make a payment online, by phone (1-800-245-2244) or at an Stake app Android|welcome_support to have power restored the same day. Service will be delayed if the payment is mailed or left in an Alabama Power office drop box.
- Please add the reconnection fee to your payment. If you’re paying before 5:00 p.m., the fee is $50. If you’re paying between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm, the fee is $75. Payments made prior to 7:00 pm will stake app reviewbe reconnected the same day. NOTE: Payments made after 7:00 pm will be reconnected the following day.
- Once payment has been received in full, the order will automatically be issued to reconnect your service.
